My Dad Is Alive

My Dad was bitten by a venomous snake.
He's in the Trauma ICU, but he is stable and we believe he is going to be all right.
Life is fragile and precious and I am so thankful that he is alive.

Day 8 - gifts from God:
1.  My Dad is alive
2.  He had the presence of mind to call 911
3.  the emergency and medical personnel have taken such excellent care of him
4.  anti-venom
5.  Temple's calm and reassuring manner
6.  Lee coming and a chance to visit
7.  taking Joseph to supper and his note to Joe
8.  seeing where he lives and that he seems to be doing better
9.  a gazpacho toast to healing
10.  praying for Ben
