The Wonder of God's Ways

"For My thoughts are not Your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,"
declares the Lord.
"For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts."
(Isaiah 55:8-9)

How can we know Your ways, O God?
You are so high and we are so low.

"Although the Lord has given you
bread of privation and
water of oppression,
He, your Teacher,
will no longer hide Himself,
but your eyes will behold your Teacher.
Your ears will hear a word behind you,
"This is the way, walk in it."
(Isaiah 30:20-21)

"Thomas said to Him,
"Lord, we do not know where You are going,
how do we know the way?"
Jesus said to him,
"I am the way. . ."
(John 14:5-6)

God's ways are higher than our ways.
God's ways are wonderful.
For, Jesus is the Way.
